Rincewind and Theoderich 02

This is a photo from the Nordcon 2010 [link] a roleplaying convention in Hamburg Germany. My friends and I participated in dressing up for that event and then we ran into Rincewind.
I took that moment for making pictures with him/her (a girl cosplayed Rincewind) and my fiancé, Jörn.

Taking the first photos the idea came up that Jörn could play the role of the Decane of the Unseen University. So we continued our funny-photo-session.


About the costumes:
Theoderich
Jörns had the idear how his costume should look like. He wanted to be a sloppy magician who is dressed up by his boss. Important was that he didn´t want to have a long robe. So a friend, who is a designer too (german) [link] made up this frockcoat-design for him.
Shoes, heat and trousers are from Ritterladen.de (german) [link]
I´ve modified them a bit, to make them look more individual.

The brooches on his hood are designed and manifactured by me.

Jörns jacket has a special ability, the left arm can glow. That is the most important part with this design. He has a control panel and a battery in the beltbags on his hip. We look forward to built this special effect a bit more out, that the Arm can glow in different colours.

But that sadly can´t be seen here.

Rincewind
She has made a good Rincewind costume, including all the details like the wrong written "WIZZARD" on the head. She althoug had a Luggage with her and a Iconograph with a goblin inside. As far as I have heard she won the costume contest. Sadly I couln´t be there.
